StimulatingBroadband.com 11/02/09 Boston - Following the lead of their Senate colleagues of a week ago, two Subcommittees of the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce late today posted notice of a hearing entitled "Driven To Distraction: Technological Devices and Vehicle Safety," to be held at 9:30 am, on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.
The Subcommittees on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection and on Communications, Technology and the Internet will, according to the notice posted at 7:32 pm (ET) this evening on the Committee site, "examine safety issues concerning drivers distracted by wireless or other electronic communications devices built in or brought into the vehicle."
